WELCOME!
The Rockville Centre Newcomers Club is a community-based organization that sponsors social events throughout the year to help residents, old and new, get the most out of living in our village. The Club organizes a wide variety of events for ladies, couples and the whole family, which are designed to appeal to everyone’s interests, promote community businesses and support local charities. And we always cap the year off with an exciting and fun-filled Ladies’ Night Out fundraiser that everyone looks forward to. Membership is a fun way to meet neighbors and make new friends!Despite the name, the Newcomers Club is not limited to new members of the community - anyone is welcome to join. Our ladies socials, couples’ events and family activities are a great way to meet other area residents in a relaxed, social atmosphere. We hope you will consider joining in the fun!
Night Out on Park Avenue Thursday, May 8th Enjoy a night out on Park Avenue (in RVC, that is!). Get an after-hours manicure and pedicure at Park Avenue Nails, shop at House of Style, Jeannine's Boutique, and Guilty Indulgence, then wind down with a drink at Cabo. This year, Ladies' Night Out will be held at The Rockville Links. It promises to be a wonderful night. This annual event is open to all ladies, so bring your family and friends.
Each year the community donates prizes that will be raffled off at Ladies' Night Out. The money raised from these raffles is donated to the charity chosen by the Newcomers' Board earlier in the year. This year's charity is the Alex Benjamin Norris Memorial Fund. After Alex's untimely death, his family, rooted in Rockville Centre, set up this fund to help people throughout our community and beyond.
